Flow Measurement Methods Engineer

CITY: Billerica STATE: Massachusetts COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Work in a product development environment to apply state-of-the art flow measurement techniques into winning flow measurement or related products.
* The candidate should possess a strong background in flow measurement techniques such as ultrasound, coriolis, or optical methods.
* Experience in computational fluid dynamics and/or finite element methods is desired.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Masters/PhD in physics, mechanical engineering or related.
* Thorough understanding of fluid mechanics and applications in flow measurment.
* Proven industry track record or relevant PhD-level project experience.
* Experience with digital signal process and algorithm development.

Desired:
* Working knowledge of ASME Piping/Pressure Vessel/Welding Codes.
* Basic knowledge of Acoustics and/or instrumentation.
* Basic knowledge of piping and related components.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
