Foundry Engineering Manager

Hong Kong and Southern China

The products include stainless steel, carbon steel, and duplex and specialized nickel alloy castings. Major applications for the castings include valves and pumps, machine components, water & waste water equipment, oil & gas, instrumentation, automotive components and so on. Its worldwide clientele are market leaders in their respective fields with an uncompromising demand for quality. Totally committed to exceeding customer requirements, the company is seeking a Foundry Engineering Manager to lead its plant operations in Hong Kong and Southern China.

Responsibilities:

Improve manufacturing process and quality of the products;

Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to target developing market niches that fit into the expansion strategy;

Lead and manage the engineering department;

Cost and price quotations;

Improve the existing price quotation system;

Provide technical support to the sales and marketing department.Requirements:

Degree in Metallurgy or Casting or Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent;

At least five years engineering and product development experience in foundries (investment or Sand Castings) with strong inclination toward corrosion resistant alloys;

Proficiency in English is a must; understanding of Chinese language will be an added value. All nationalities are welcome;

A seasoned problem solver with a pool of hands-on experience in all facets of foundry work;
