Job Description:
Rummel, Klepper & Kahl has an immediate opening for a GIS Analyst/Manager to assist in the coordination and management of the firm?s GIS department. The job will entail:
? Coordinate with RK&K engineering staff and clients to establish the requirements for GIS tasks associated with a wide variety of disciplines including: transportation, planning, environmental, water resources, utilities, traffic, structural, geotechnical, etc.
? Coordination of multiple GIS tasks with varying complexity and time completion requirements
? Assist in the coordination of the firm?s GIS professional staff
? Assistance in preparing project proposals
Skills & Qualifications:
The candidate must have thorough knowledge of ESRI GIS software and at least 4 years experience with GIS database design, data population, and data migration with functional understanding of relational databases at both personal and enterprise levels. Above-average skill with ESRI GIS software, relational database systems (either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle), and MS Office. The candidate should have strong communication skills (written and oral), critical thinking and problem solving ability. Demonstrable project coordination experience with the ability to manage/oversee multiple GIS projects is required.
At a minimum, candidates should have a Bachelor?s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
