Game Programmer
GLOBAL VR, founded in 1998, and headquartered in San Jose, California is one of the world's leading manufacturers of arcade video games based on home gaming technology. The company has strong revenues and is experiencing rapid growth.
We are looking for an experienced Game Programmer to work on ULTRAPIN a digital video pinball game. This person will be responsible for porting/reverse engineering existing game code, as well as creating new game modes of play and visual effects.

Qualifications:
5+ years experience in video game software development
Expert C/C++ Programmer
User interface design and implementation experience
The ability to reverse engineer and enhance existing software code
Strong planning and organizational abilities
Self motivated with strong work ethics and the ability to work with limited supervision
Effective analytical, written, oral, team and interpersonal skills
Versatility to adapt to changing priorities
A passion for games
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Desirable:
3D Graphics API experience (Direct3D 9+ )
Prior work on titles with real time physics
Experience with VB Scripting
A video game addict!
