Global Product Marketing Manager - High Volume MEMS

CITY: Fremont, CA STATE: California COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Owns and drives the commercial related activities for New Product Introduction (NPI)/Class1/CPO programs by providing collateral and guidance for Technology NPI team. Supports regular review sessions with Technology NPI team.
* Provides direction and prioritization for sustaining product related issues. Supports regular review sessions with Technology COE team.
* Provides technical and commercial assistance to Product Specialists and Application Engineering to satisfy customer requirements. In specific cases communicates directly with customers to address highly technical questions and issues (second level marketing support after product specialist)
* Tracks global product quotes, orders, sales, costs, contribution margin and vitality.
* Establishes NPI sales plan with Sales at product launch (globally). Supports Sales team in reaching goals in conjunction with product specialist.
* Manages the multi-generational product portfolio.
* Identifies customers CTQs for specific product line across all market segments.
* Develops technical content for MarCom/Commercialization (ie. data sheets, manuals, etc.)
* Identifies Beta Sites/Customers for NPI.
* Tracks related competitor portfolios, market price, etc. for product line.
* Owns final pricing for the product line. Responsible for content of the product line price lists.
* Key metrics: Orders/sales growth, price, CM, NPI execution, product line vitality.
* Lead the S1 and S2 for the product line.
* Provide overall product line vision linking customer's desires with GE's technology roadmap.
* Track and benchmark global competitors - technology, product portfolio, pricing.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years sensor industry experience - preferably pressure sensing/MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems)
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (or high school diploma/GED and 10 years experience in Global Product Marketing for sensor products)
* Ability to travel at least 25% of work time.
* Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, powerpoint) and PC based sales & order systems and manufacturing systems.
