Ground Terminal Systems Engineer (1722)
Duluth, GA (Atlanta)
Responsibilities:
The desired candidate would be responsible for all of the system aspects of an antenna systems program beginning with requirements and concept discussions and analysis with potential customers, followed by the generation of a formal proposal, resulting in a contract award in which the candidate would complete the detailed system design, and oversee the implementation, test, system verification, delivery, and sell off of the completed system to the customer. Proven capabilities to conceptualize, design, implement, and test field satellite ground terminals, antenna telemetry systems, or similarly complex systems are required. The successful candidate will be a key senior member of the division involved with all aspects of ground terminals, including business development, proposal generation, systems engineering, and project engineering. Experience forming proposal capture teams a plus. Must have a strong analytical background coupled with hands-on implementation experience. Up to 25 percent travel.
Requirements:
BSEE/BSME required. 2-5 years experience required.
Design of military ground terminals or similarly complex military radar or communications systems required.
Experience working with CECOM or SPAWAR desired. Clearance desired.
Proven analytical system design expertise
Strong verbal and writing skills
Proven hands-on implementation experience with ground terminals
Team player and leader
U.S. citizenship required.
