Qualifications:

? Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required, Masters degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

? Minimum 2-5 years of practical experience in automotive electronics design / development or equivalent experience

? Apply design/development tools as required (FMEA, 8D Methodology, etc.)

? Experience with schematic entry and simulation tools (Mentor, PSpice, Saber)

? Good communication and organizational skills

Objectives:

 

? Will be defined by the Project Manager of the assigned project(s)

 

Key Responsibilities:

? Participate in the development of the electronic module concept in coordination with the mechanical and layout design, manufacturing, and according to customer/SV quality requirements, automotive specifications and SV guidelines

? Design and develop analog/digital circuits for automotive use

? Define, select and test (new) electronic components and work with suppliers and internal departments from product design until release

? Attend meetings between locations to define, coordinate, and follow continuous improvement activities regarding supplied components, design, and manufacturing processes

? Evaluate internal or external engineering change requests. Coordiate necessary actions to implement agreed changes in accordance with the QS requirements

? Support organization and maintenance of the project file

? Support the local Warranty Return Center on an as needed basis

? Ensure design compliance to customer specification and support FMEA

? Follow and apply the local Quality Manual and procedures

? Attend all project meetings and special project meetings as requested

?  Support internal departments: quality, manufacturing, sales, test lab, purchasing, etc.

?  Define and edit test specifications
