Hardware Intern

Seeking a highly motivated intern this fall to assist our product
engineers to work and resolve customer software and hardware problems with
our high performance xSeries products. The job requires familiarity with
computer hardware, operating systems and applications. The candidates' responsibilities will include:
1. Set-up and recreate customer problems
2. Work with PE and developers to analyze the rootcause of the problem
using tools such as debug logs, bus analyzers ecetera.
3. Confirm the fix
4. Work with the test and development teams to schedule testing and then
release the fix
All qualified candidates must have experience installing and using Microsoft and Linux OS's, using bus analyzers and general debug skills are beneficial.
