Hardware Technician with Websphere Server Experience

We have an immediate need for a PC Hardware Technician with Websphere Server experience for a contract in the RTP area.  Qualified candidates must have Windows, Linux and VMWare experience. The position also requires the following:

Skills Needed: 
Demo and Proof of Concept team is looking for a vendor who would be responsible for installation, configuration, verification of computer systems which are used for Demos and Proof of Concepts as defined by a project lead.  Vendor will work in a team environment with specific responsibilities assigned by team lead and technical leads.
Excellent communication skills a must.  PC Hardware technician skills, debug WebSphere server problems, experience with setup, administration, and maintenance of WebSphere servers.  Strong organization/administrative skills required to track computer systems for compliance and usage as well as maintain demo schedules. 
Skills in the following areas are preferred.  Hardware/Networking skills, Software Skills such as VMWare ESX/Workstation, Ghost, WAS, Portal, DB2, Oracle, Documentum, IBM Content Manager, Adobe AES/ADS, Windows Server, HP UX, AIX, Linux, and JAVA.

 

 

Education:

Bachelors Degree preferred.
