Honeywell Lab Tech-Automotive-Engine Tester

Manpower Inc. in Gardena is partnering with Honeywell to recruit Lab Techs for one of their Torrance, California facilities. The qualified candidates (TECHNICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY) must have general knowledge to work with scopes, schematics, electrical, engineering drawings, as well as the ability to calibrate engines in an automotive environment.

Additionally, a clean criminal background/drug test is imperative. Performs routine duties with engine test cells, gas stand test cells, various tests such as gas/engine stand performance and endurance, routine vehicle maintenance, repairs, replaces components, uses computer systems to operate controls, switches, regulators and valves to establish conditions for reading and recording data. Basic knowledge of Lab Facility and equipment preferred - PC skills, an understanding of internal combustion engines and turbochargers, machine tool/welding skills a plus (engine lathe, mill, drill press TIG etc.).
