IC Design Engineer

Read on to find out more...The selected individual will have responsbilities including the following: - product development of high performance ICs for the communications market.- chip to be developed include physical layer interface function and high band with switching and protocol processing functions. - will work in a team-oriented environment with project responsibilities that extend from product definition through release to production. - specific design activities include functional implementation, schematic capture, circuit and logic-level simulation physical design, verification, bench evaluation/characterization, and test development support.  To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should possess: - BSEE or equivalent education and experience.- Minimum 5 years IC design experience of which at lest 3 years should be current experience working in transistor and logic-level IC design (communications chip design experience preferred).- Strong competency using CAD tools for circuit and logic-level design. - Demonstrated ability to work independently. - Experience with physical design and verification. - Experience with bench test, characterization, and test development.  We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
