IPTV SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Software Development Manager

Manages a team of 8-10 C/C++ software engineers, to develop application or driver modules for a Linux IPTV platform. Provides overall project management including detailed project schedules, weekly status reports, and assignment of software tasks and training. Provides technical management including supervision of code reviews, defect tracking, and other tasks as determined by the development process. Supports code through unit test, integration, launch and deployment.

Years of Industry Experience Required: 5 years experience with embedded SW design and development3 years software engineering management

 

Minimum Required Education: BSCS or BSEE degree (MSCS or MSEE preferred)

 

Skills Required/Minimum years of Experience: 5 years C

 

Preferred Experience/Years: 2 years C++ 2 years Linux 2 years Domestic or International Cable2 years IP

 

% Work Travel: 10-20%, some international travel
