Implant Shift Engineer

As an Implant Shift Engineer for IM Flash Technologies, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Implant equipment and processes on shift. In this position, you will monitor the operation of Implant equipment and processes on shift and troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise. Additionally, you will create, implement, analyze, and summarize Special Work Requests (SWRs) for Implant and other affected processes; create and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for Implant processes; and assist and support the Implant engineering group with testing and experimentation on Implant processes and equipment. This position also requires you to collect, document, and analyze data from testing or experiments conducted in the area and monitor, analyze, and address SPC issues for the Implant process on a daily basis.



Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of Fab processes. You must possess good organizational skills and be able to work on, and prioritize, multiple tasks. You should be self motivated and have excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and organizational skills. It is also essential that you be willing to work any shift and that you be flexible for shift rotation.



Other desirable competencies include the ability to work well in groups and one-on-one situations; good analytical skills; and the ability to design valid tests, SWRs, and Design of Experiments (DOEs). This position also requires that you have a basic understanding of probe, parametric, and device theory.



 


Required Education:
You must have a degree in Engineering or have at least 6 months experience as a Semiconductor Engineer.



**You will also be required to perform some level of training at the MTV (Virginia) site depending on experience.**
