 Industrial Engineer

Located in Duncan, South Carolina at the Corporate North American Headquarters

 

Primary Responsibility:

 

 This position is responsible for assisting in new program launch activities, optimizing productivity of existing programs, and all facility Engineering and packaging issues. 

 

Primary Duties Include:Assist in new programs implementation.Assist with the development of new process flow chartsAssist in verifying time and method studies for all partsVerify machine and labor capacityParticipate in the selection of production equipmentTeam development of FMEA's, Control Plans, etc.Assist with new plant layouts and update existing plant layout drawingsAssist to provide warehouse storage requirementMaintain plant square footage calculationAudit and assist in maintaining accurate part routings and bill of materialsDevelop effective operator instructionsErgonomic review and improvements

 

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:4-years Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience.


EXPERIENCE:

?  2-5 years related engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.

?  Strong project management skills, Lean manufacturing, JIT experience and 8D are required.

?  Must have good leadership, communication and organization skills.

?Experience in an international organization is a plus

?  German and/or Spanish language a plus

?  MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project.

? AutoCad experience
