Industrial Engineer: new grads or experienced: high impact, high visibility career growth role

Gate Gourmet provides top quality airline catering around the globe. Our main focus is on integrated supply chain management, comprehensive in-flight solutions, and retail concepts. Our 22,000 employees produce approximately 195 million quality meals each year in 115 flight kitchens in 30 countries on five continents.

We have an opening for an Industrial Engineer - our preference is for an experienced engineer (3+ years of experience) but we will also consider high-potential recent graduates in engineering.

As part of our Product Engineering Department, you will play a key role as we transition from the "art of pricing" to the "science of costing," and help us to implement a costing process that has proven successful in our European and Latin American divisions. Your labor analyses in a variety of operational areas will become part of a global product marketing strategy that is very new to the airline catering industry.

This high-impact role will enable you to showcase your initiative and demonstrate your ability to deliver results. We consider IE a mission-critical function, and a proven Industrial Engineer might move into a management role in engineering or into Operations, Supply Chain Management, or other areas in our organization.
