Position Description:

Perform routine analysis to support the business. This includes collecting data via observations and working with operations and other groups within the organization. Assist the Engineering staff in providing solutions to specific problems that face the organization in a timely manner.
? Provide support to operations/engineering by collecting data, performing data analysis, and summarizing information.
? Participate in cross-functional teams to identify issues and solutions to operational issues.
? Work on major operations improvement initiatives as part of a team
? Assist in equipment implementation
? Work on process improvement initiatives
? Perform project development and implementation in conjunction with an Engineer


Qualifications:

? A college degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
? Desire to move into operations management within career
? Must be able to travel
? Proficient using Microsoft Office Applications, with extensive knowledge of Access preferred
? Proficient at time and motion analysis using time studies and MTM
? AutoCAD experience preferred
? Good written and verbal communications skills
? Experience in Distribution, logistics, or packaging environments preferred
