Industrial Hygienist (4319)

Job Description:
Candidate will be part of large team of IH professionals providing support to DOE and DOD customers. Must be able to perform occupational exposure assessments, including standard IH assessments and calculations for ventilation, air sampling, noise, etc. Must be able to execute and manage tasks within scope schedule and budget and communicate progress to Project Manager. Will recognize and evaluate workplace hazards. Will help design and implement sampling strategies and hazard controls.

Requires a Bachelors degree (Masters degree preferred) in industrial hygiene, industrial safety, environmental sciences or related discipline and 5+ years of related experience. Certification in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene is desirable, or must be eligible for CIH certification. Write clear and concise reports; Implement quality management procedures; computer literate in Microsoft Office. Collect and analyze IH data; make oral presentations of results of assessments; determine compliance with OSHA and other regulations; execute industrial hygiene surveys and assessments; Develop and implement IH procedures.

This postiion requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoE L/Q Security clearance. US Citizenship required.
