Injection Molding Process Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:



* This position?s primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to a growing Asia Pacific region in the areas of injection molding and/or extrusion.

* Provide technical assistance and guidance via phone, e-mail or through customer visits to both existing accounts and new, in order to help train and streamline customer operations so they are able to consistently produce products which meet and exceed minimum quality standards.

* Provide specific design criteria which will aid in the modification, upgrading and/or purchase of new processing equipment.

* Work closely and in cooperation with the business team?s strategy and R&D to develop new business opportunities in the area.

* Work with R&D Scientists in order to help resolve customer issues and aid in the assessment of new products during the commercialization process.

* Responsible for accurate record keeping, report writing and communicating across various levels of global business.

* Support across segment teams in order to maintain current business and grow new opportunities in both molding and or extrusion of products.

* The position will require travel.



Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:



* Minimum of high school diploma.

* 10 or more years of hands on experience in injection molding and/or extrusion of vinyl products.

* Problem-solving skills.

* The ability to work as part of a team.

* The ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organization.

* Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.



Considered a Plus:



* Technical Service experience in vinyl products.

* Professional or extended education/training.

* Additional language skills.
