Instructional Designer
Job Description Creation of educational products, including computer-based, web-based, paper-based, OJT and classroom training using systematic instructional design processes to ensure products meet client needs. Manage cross-fuctional teams to assess training needs, consult with subject matter experts and perform audience, task/skill and media analysis. Develop course learning strategies and objectives. Solicit and communicate learning process improvements for OJT, e-learning (synchronous and asynchronous) and classroom environments. Some training logistics and classroom instruction time required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience required. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Knowledge and experience with instructional design methodology, SCORM / AICC compliance, LMS and LCMS management tools, authoring tools and statistical analysis. Experience with multimedia software packages such as Flash, html, xml, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Authorware, Macromedia etc.
Software Skills: Lotus Notes, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, Visio, MS Project, multimedia packages referenced above
Education
Bachelor of Science in Science, Education, Engineering or related field
