Instrument Engineer

Sucessfull candidate will possess a BS Degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical engineering and at least 5 years experience in instrumention & controls for chemical, refining or other process related facilities. Must be capable of managing the overall technical direction for design and installation of instrumentation, valves, process analyzers and control systems for assigned asset team. Must be able to provide technical direction for engineering contractors on control systems technology, instrumentation, analysis equipment and electrical power systems. Must be able to develop and maintain IEA PVM proceedures. Participate in review of all outside repair facilities and blanket order vendor selectors. Must be able to participate in all capital project P&ID and PHA/Hazop reviews. Must be able to participate and provide assitance with FAT and SAT's, commissioning and checkouts. Must be capable of participating in pre-commissioning and start up of new processes on a as neened basis to ensure adaquate transfer of custody and care to plant operations.
