JOB TITLE: Integrated Circuit ( IC ) Layout Designer JOB

DESCRIPTION:
Generate IC Layouts on CAD (Mentor or Cadence) workstation. Works
from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to generate
physical IC Layouts. Utilize CAD tools to check and verify layout
work. Work in team environment or directly with engineer to complete
job assignments. Support various engineering activities to maintain
laboratory equipment, build development/test boards, and provide other Lab services when required.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED - Post High School classes in EE or computer programming.
PREFERRED - Two-year degree in EE.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 - 5 years of relevant experience

SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
REQUIRED - Works well in team environment, able to follow direction
from multiple individuals. VERY DETAILED ORIENTATED, with the spirit
to succeed. Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
with an eagerness to learn. NOT afraid to ask questions.
Self-motivated, quick learner, well organized, a problem solver, and
multi-tasked oriented. Flexible in work assignment, tasks and working
hours. PREFERRED - Previous experience in IC Layout, Mentor or
Cadence tools.
