Responsibilities:
* Integration, test and interconnection of the major assemblies of the LADARVision or LADARWave systems per the specified documentation.
* Performs the operational tests and adjustments as defined by the procedures.
* Troubleshoots problems to the box, board, or component level.
* Adjust the system to perform in accordance with the applicable specifications as required.
* Perform a wide-variety of duties as part of a technical organization unit in Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or R&D.
* May perform in-house repair and refurbishing of company products with varying degrees of technical complexity.
* May work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing of prototype Electro-mechanical systems.
* Understands and complies with all Corporate, Business Unit and Department Quality Policies and Procedures.
* Partners with employees, is accountable and shares information.
* Follows all Corporate Occupational Safety and Health Policies and Procedures. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
* Follows Corporate Human Resources Policies and Procedures.


Requirements;
* AS/AA Degree Electrical, Electro-optics, or equivalent education/experience
* 5 years experience as a Technician, 1-2 years experience working at system level testing/troubleshooting.
* Proficient at troubleshooting electronic problems to the component level
* Proficiency with electrical lab/test equipment required.
* Good communications skills, ability to coach and train others, proficiency with Windows based PC applications, knowledge of Lasers and Optical systems.
* Preferably, 1-2 years experience working with Optics and/or Lasers, ideally gas types.
