Intermediate Technician

Requirements:
*Proficient in troubleshooting microprocessor controlled digital and analog circuits to component level
* Perform preventive maintenance and assist in minor repair of test equipment
*Familiar with aircraft power generation and distribution is a plus.
*Familiar with automatic test equipment instrumentation and programming techniques.
*Strong communication skills required to interface with engineers and process design teams.
*Familiar with statistical process controls and ISO9000 standards.
*Able to effectively coordinate and participate in test department training activities.
*Highly motivated individual capable of working with minimum supervision in a team environment.

Education/Experience:
*Five years directly related experience or Associates Degree with 2 years experience, or Qualified Certified Electronic Technician Certification in related technical field, with 2 years of experience. *Understand the theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components, including working knowledge of analog, digital and microprocessor theory.
*Ability to operate electroic equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, digital meters, etc.
*Very good computer skills and basic knowledge of traditional office software applications such as WORD and EXCEL - also working knowledge of programming and hardware and software analysis of microprocessor based systems.

Due to customer requirements, candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents. Must be willing to work any shift and mandatory overtime.
