Internship - Facilities Engineering and Maintenance


 


Qimonda is seeking energetic and team oriented students to serve as interns.  You will work on meaningful projects that are designed to expose you to a “real-world” work environment.  At the same time you will be provided the tools and guidance that allow this to truly be a hands-on educational experience.  During the internship the successful candidate will be exposed to a broad range of processes and technologies in the area of semi-conductor manufacturing and gain hands-on experience in designing and analyzing experiments. 


 


Job Description:


 


- Light AutoCAD work


- Assist with the implementation of SPC for Facilities Process-Critical Parameters


- Develop templates for analysis of facilities historical data and custom reports for analysis of facilities alarm data


- Assist with reconfiguration of Facilities Test and Config Lab


- Assist with reconfiguration of LSSS Test Bench


- Assist with implementation of automated backups for facilities control systems


- Assist with development of materials and help train users on Facilities Process Data Collection Systemsand on Site-Wide Wireless  Messaging system


- Explore possibility of using site wireless network to reduce routing of permits and impairments


- Assist with field audits of Facilities Control Systems


 


Qualifications:


 


Rising Junior or higher pursuing B.S. in one of the following disciplines:  Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related coursework

Education: High School (or equivalent work experience)
Job Level: 0-1 year
