JUNIOR LEVEL SOFTWARE ENGINEER
In this stimulating position, selected candidate will be responsible for software and system development in applications related to sonar signal processing. Software development will be primarily performed using C/C++ and MATLAB. Ideal candidate will be proficient in software coding and debugging techniques, with an emphasis on signal processing algorithms, using C/C++ with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating system and have experience with implementation of advanced algorithms on parallel computing platforms, and techniques for improving computational performance. Additionally, experience with operating system setup and tuning, including integrated tailoring of applications and operating systems for improved throughput preferred.
Database development utilizing Oracle or MySQL and any background or experience in acoustics a plus.
Minimum educational requirements; Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, and two years of full-time professional experience. A Masters degree in an appropriate discipline is preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship required.
