Java Web Developer

SRC is looking for a qualified candidate who will design and develop advanced Web systems and services. The individual must be able to work in a team setting and contribute to all phases of software development from Concept Definition through requirements analysis, design, code, test, deployment, and maintenance. Initial duties will require as combination of research and implementation skills with COTS products.

Requirements: The successful candidate must possess a BS degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 5 years applied experience. Background must include development of complex systems, services, and subsystems using modern software, techniques, and tools.

Desired skill set to include: ? Object-oriented design and programming (Java, JRE1.5, Ajax, JSF, ...) ? Web architecture and design ? Demonstrated experience with SOA ? Apache WebServer / Tomcat ? XML (xmlspy) ? GUI development (JFC/Swing) ? COTS integration ? Knowledge of COTS Collaboration tools is a plus ? Knowledge of Data Mining Technology is a plus ? Experience with government programs is a plus ? Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills

Security Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen; Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. An in-scope (within 5 years) SSBI and a U.S. Government clearance within the last 24 months is required. The applicant must also have a current CI or FS polygraph or are willing to submit to one as a condition of employment.
