Junior Engineer/Engineer In Training

 

We have an immediate need for a Junior Engineer/Engineer In Training.  Duties to include the preparation of GIS based maps for use in inventories of municipal street pavement performance evaluations, analysis of large data sets from the field, and preparation of data models for asset evaluations.  The candidate should have good command of database manipulation using Excel, SQL as well as other database platforms, and have some background in the ESRI GIS applications. The candidate will provide input into technical reports and write portions of final technical studies.  Qualified candidates would benefit from some asset management knowledge as it applies to pavements, signs, sidewalks and third party software implementation skills.  All work will be completed with direction from a project manager. Some travel may be involved.  Strong database skills are required as well as ESRI GIS knowledge - ArcGIS, Arcpad and good communication skills.
