LEAN MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

This position will lead/drive a culture of lean continuous process improvements that dramatically improves the Deluxe manufacturing value drivers (capability, flexibility, cost management, service and quality). 

 Work with lean/process leadership to achieve operational goalsUtilize teaming and lean methodologies to create a culture of and drive continuous process improvementsReduce manufacturing process cycle timeEducate/train employees and self on lean process improvements methodologiesWork with cross-functional teams across the organization to implement lean process improvements, particularly the standardization of processes Manage/lead lean process improvement projects.Continuously improve the focus upon internal and external customersFocus upon meeting the expectations of customers (value added activities) and the reduction/elimination of non-value added activities 

 

Qualifications:Bachelors Degree (industrial or manufacturing engineering is preferred) or equivalent work experience.3+ years successful manufacturing experience driving continuous process improvements.Understanding and effective utilization of Lean methodologies; lean implementation experience is preferred.Must have strong change management, leadership and teambuilding experience and skills.Solid project management skills required.Competencies Required for Position:Driving cultural changeAnalyzing problems and making decisionsStrong achievement orientationStrong interpersonal skills
