Provide third tier service delivery network management and proactive network surveillance. Respond to complex and escalated technical service troubles and perform complex diagnostic troubleshooting to resolve problems. Handle critical issues escalated by Customer Care, Adv. Tech. Support, or Engineering. Leverage existing tools to perform real-time analysis of troubles. Leverage existing tools (Cheetah, Sonet, EMS, Pathtracker, Spectrum, VSM) to provide real time trouble analysis. Mentors co-workers on conclusions derived from analysis and experience. Performs proactive and reactive analysis to fix troubles or to identify trends, isolate problems and escalate them, if necessary. Provides feedback regarding operational and process flaws to supervisor. Participates in revising and implementing changes to department workflows, procedures, policies, etc. Acts as a resource/subject matter expert/role model to others in the department. Provides on the job training and coaching. Expectation of being the Team Lead within the LMC as it pertains to event management. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Qualifications
Strong technical aptitude and understanding of the HFC network infrastructure, including Head End facilities and the delivery of broadband services. Hands on experience with TCP/IP networking in an ISP environment. Demonstrated understanding of internet routing protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF. Experience in lower level protocols including frame relay, SONET, GigE, etc. Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Routers and Switches. Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communicaiton skills. Ability to work effectively and multi task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to make effective decisions with minimal supervision
