LT ILS JNN - Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is responsible for the management functions incident to the total life cycle management support for the Joint Network Node (JNN) Network program.  The APM ILS is responsible for:

 

?  Providing responsive 24/7 support to the Warfighter

?  Manning and operating Regional Support Centers (RSC) worldwide

?   Providing repair and replace capabilities through RSC’s, OEMs and vendors,

?  Providing management of a worldwide Sparing program designed to provide LRU’s at the right place and at the right time. 

 

The APM ILS will participate jointly with the Northrop Grumman Project Manager to develop project management policies, plans, requirements and direction. Project responsibilities consist of development, acquisition, testing, fielding and life cycle support.  Exercises centralized authority and control over resources management such as funds, contracts, priorities, schedules, personnel and facilities; and directing/controlling the work performed by project directors and assistant product managers.  Plans, directs, coordinates and reviews work.  Defines the general areas of work assignments and responsibilities and reviews completed work for technical and procedural accuracy. 

 

Final grade will be based on education and experience.

Experience in the following areas is required:

Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
Possess a Masters degree and have at least 15 years of US Army logistics experience
Experience with Information Technology (IT) programs
Possess expertise in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Power Point
Strong attention to detail is essential, to include good organizational, interpersonal, leadership skills, and the ability to convey complex thoughts and ideas, both orally and in writing.Current secret clearance or higher preferred Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Experience with ILS and PBL are a plus
Strong consideration will be given to those candidates with Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt qualifications
