LT MA - SCM Analyst 3

Responsible for execution of Software Configuration Management processes as well as management and control of new versions and updated releases of the LDSS baseline.  Job responsibilities also include representation to program boards and meetings, review and update of CM documentation, interface with management and engineering personnel, and participation in functional configuration audits. As secretary of the project change control board, must have knowledge of problem tracking concepts using CM tools; provides metrics on change status at monthly metrics reviews. Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Reviews documents against contract requirements, coordinates scheduled documentation deliveries with staff, and works with data management to release data items to the customer.

 

Final grade determination bassed on experience and education.




Experience in the following areas is required:


BS in a scientific or engineering field plus a minimum of 2-4 years experience is required.

Experience with Configuration Management principles and implementation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills are required.

Adept PC skills (MS office - Word, Excel, & PowerPoint 


Experience in the following areas is an asset:


Familiarity with ClearQuest, Livelink and DOORS desirable. 

Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, SEI CMMI, ISO 9000, and SAE AS9100 is a plus.
