Lab Technician- Juno Lighting Group 0028

Job Responsibilities:
Juno Lighting Group comprises a family of eight lighting category brands, and is a single source of lighting manufacturer for commercial, retail, industrial and residential applications throughout North America. Our Fishers location seeks entry level lab technician. Must be motivated self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated problem solving skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ? Perform evaluations on complex and involved prototypes, competitive products and spot testing of manufactured products or components. ? Trouble shooting failures and implementing engineering prototypes/improvements. ? Coordinating with manufacturing. ? Develop test fixtures. ? Record and report data from test results, Using PC (Excel, Word, Access). ? Analyze results, draw conclusions and recommend possible improvements to products. ? Assist other laboratory technicians. ? Maintain organization and cleanliness in lab and test area. ? Plan, construct and set up test equipment and products in proper sequence. ? Use of data acquisition equipment. ? Set up and execution of photometry and thermal tests, as well as troubleshooting of AC lighting systems and components. Requirements include but are not limited to:


? Third or fourth year engineer or an Associates of Electronic Technology or equivalent experience with AC and DC testing devices. ? Experience in using hand tools, reading schematics, and building test boxes is preferred. ? Soldering skills, prototype building, test equipment familiarity, and read and understand U.L. Standards and Tests. ? Knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
