Land Surveying CADD Technicians

We are seeking surveying technicians with conventional and GPS experience.  Successful candidates should have 3-5 years experience in land surveying field with AutoCAD/Softdesk, Land Development Desktop, survey computations, subdivision mapping, platting & knowledge of deed descriptions. GPS/GIS field/office and Microstation experience a plus. Responsibilities include:Drafting maps, worksheets and cut sheets used in planning and construction of residential and commercial projects, such as buildings, houses, roads, utilities, flood control, and drainage.Review rough sketches, drawings, plans, specifications, and other data received from Civil Engineer or Architect. May accompany survey crew in field to locate grading markers or to collect data required for revision of construction drawings. Brief project surveyor and Department Head on project process. Brief and advise various crew chiefs. Assist in record keeping and maintain project files. Direct technical client contact. GPS/Survey Technician: Land surveying background is required for this position. The successful candidate will have GPS processing ability and project management background. ArcView and 3D Laser Scanning experience a plus!
