Laser Engineer

Insight Technology, Inc. a leading manufacturer of Night Vision and Electro Optical Devices is seeking a Laser Engineer to pursue a career in a fast paced and growing company where ergonomic designs become production reality.  As a member of our engineering staff, you will be part of a lean engineering team and responsible for the development of laser-based projects from concept to production.

 

Requirements:

Successful candidates will possess a BS in Physics or Optics with 5 years experience in an aerospace defense, telecommunication, or medical product environment.  A background in optical testing and design of semiconductor LASER Rangefinding or Position Sensing System a significant advantage.  Strong design characterization debug and troubleshooting skills with solid hands-on lab experience and mechanical skills considered valuable.  Good written and oral communication skills necessary.  Zemax design experience a plus.
