Lead Mechanical Estimator

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for independently applying advanced estimating techniques and analysis, in Petrochemical Engineering & Construction, within the Mechanical discipline.
 Must be able to utilize knowledge and hands-on experience in Factored Estimating, Conceptually Defined Estimating, and Definitive Estimating.  Emphasis will be on preparing conceptual as well as Lump sum estimates.
Ability to read/interpret equipment drawings and specs.
Proficient in installation and costing of process equipment
May supervise a small group of Estimators.



REQUIREMENTS

? Minimum of 10-15 years Home Office Engineering & Constructions experience in a Petrochemical industry.

? Bachelor?s degree preferred, but not required.

? PC proficiency, including all Microsoft Office; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word.

? Knowledge of Kbase estimating software experience preferred.

? Strong communication, team-work, and interpersonal skills. 

? Prior lead or supervisory experience a plus.

? Ability and willingness to travel world-wide, as needed

? Willingness to work overtime, as needed.
