This position is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining computer based processes that support and enhance engineering efforts and its business objectives.? The position also works with the Manager, Information Systems, Team Leaders, Program Manager, and Chief Engineers to establish a strategic plan for the software development that supports there areas of responsibilities. Candidate must have problem solving and analytical computer skills who can be a project leader of major divisional/interdivisional projects, who is self managed and have exceptional reporting skills. Individual should be able to recognize opportunities and champion innovative solutions to enhance end- user performance and recognize and introduce relevant new technologies into the business unit?s tool set. Individual must recognize potential problem areas and provide advice and direction on the use of technology tools and problem solving processes, to overcome barriers and can identify champions and facilitates opportunities for business process innovation.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Knowledge of ProE and Windchill practices related to engineering and manufacturing processes. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Pro-E, Windchill and other technical computing environments. Maintain system documentation, security, data integrity, job accounting, data management, licensing and system interruption protection plans. Maintain and enhance Pro-E user standards for Engineering. Develop operational and procedural documentation. Ability to develop and deploy effective business solutions. Knowledge of system design and programming concepts in support of a CAD and PDM. Knowledge of computer languages utilized to support level 1 CAD software packages on various hardware/software platforms. Ability to work effectively with user departments and sector counterparts in solving business process issues.
