Lead Tester, Principal Engineer

Play a key role in defining the Architecture of products developed by the Global Mailing Solutions Internet and PC Solutions Group using a defined and managed unified iterative development process.  The individual will be involved in the development and evaluation of product architectures including complex solution integration, product family integration, and third party and partner integration. 

 

Generate, drive and execute the Test Strategies and test process implementation plans for multi-tier sever based products. Write, review, monitor and participate in the generation and execution of functional, automated and performance based test cases by local and remote resources. Develop a broad technical understanding of the internal workings of the products to enable grey box testing and root cause analysis of test failures. Lead a test team in the execution of various workflows and artifact generation in support of the Pitney Bowes adaptation of the Rational Unified Process.



Minimum of 12 years experience in an Engineering environment.

Minimum of 5 years leading System Test teams in black and white box testing techniques in client and web based PC applications.

Experienced in the design of Test Strategies, applying test automation, and designing/qualifying load test scenarios.

Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree required.

Experience leading at least two of the project development disciplines in the complete product development lifecycle.

Engineering process design and implementation experience required.

Communication and team skills appropriate for mentoring personnel of all levels is required.
