Lean Engineering Process Leader

CITY: Aurora STATE: Ohio COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Come and join GE Healthcare as a lean engineering process leader. The main duties of this role include:

*The GEHC Coils engineering team is responsible for designing industry leading MR surface coils that are a key component in the acquisition chain of MR systems. In this critically important position you will report to the director of engineering and will be responsible for utilizing lean techniques to create world-class design and installed base engineering processes.
*Drive simplification and digitization across key NPI and IB engineering processes
*Work with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering NPI process with sourcing, manufacturing, and service teams
*Responsible to help drive GEHC Coils Engineering business processes
*Lead detailed data gathering for S1 & S2 activities
*Assist engineering director in budgetary management as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical / Applied Physics, or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent (an Associates and more than 6 years of experience in product development)
*At least three years of experience in product development
*Demonstrated understanding of NPI and IB engineering processes. This should include generating requirements, design (electrical and mechanical), verification, validation, design transfer, and design change.
*Quick acquisition of CAP and Lean skills
*Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
*Demonstrated project leadership skills.
*Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
*Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills
*Willing to work out of our Aurora, OH
*Willing to travel occasionally (varies from 0% to 20% depending upon the particular program requirements)
*Wiling to submit to a background investigation and drug screen
*Unrestricted work authorization in the United States

Desired:
*Proven Lean skills and experience in CAP processes
*Masters of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a MBA
*Six Sigma green/black belt training and certification
