Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analyst

Job Description:
The Northeast Supportability Engineering (NSE) Department is seeking a person to support the development and preparation of the Design To Cost (DTC), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) estimates. Duties include: providing program LCC estimates and risk analyses, developing and maintaining product/program cost models and relevant databases, developing and providing data and other support as requested by Engineering and Program Offices. Candidate will develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work will be performed without appreciable direction. Ideal candidate is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of DTC/LCC.

The qualified candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.


Required Skills:
Practical understanding of design, development, production processes, government acquisition policies and operations, support concepts and activities and life cycle cost analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. Possess at least 5 years combined experience performing DTC, LCC or TOC analyses on Military systems.

Candidate will support new business pursuits and work with NSE leadership to assemble a team of DTC/LCC Analysts. Some d omestic travel will be required in support of new business pursuits.


Desired Skills:
Experience in quantitative methods and analytical techniques with respect to database development, parametric modeling and risk analysis.

Very strong analytical skills, self motivated, very effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to perform independent cost analysis functions for senior management at all sectors/segments. Microsoft Office suite skills required.


Required Education(including Major):


BS/BA in Engineering, Math or Business. Masters degree. Experience may substitute for education . Certified Professional Logistician (CPL from International Society of Logistics) or Project Management Professional (PMP, Project Management Institute, Inc.) a plus
