We are seeking a low level embedded software(Driver) developer - with video expeirence for our Boston based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop software drivers for Digital TV products
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in CS or CE
- 3+ yrs experience in developing low level embedded software drivers in C/C++
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of digital broadcast standards such as ATSC or DVB.
- Direct experience with some of the following:
' Board support drivers (I2C, Ethernet, IDE, USB)
' Analog and digital video drivers (MPEG2, MPEG4, Analog video encoder/decoders)
' Analog and digital audio drivers
' MPEG transport layer
' Embedded operating systems (Linux, WinCE, VxWorks, PowerTV)
' Set top box middleware environments (PowerTV, OpenTV, MSTV, Liberate)
DESIRABLE:
- Experience in HDTV, STB and MPEG
- Experience in the design and implementation of applications and embedded drivers specifically for the set top box industry or digital TV
