The Test Manager position is a senior level manager that oversees the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Test Laboratory as well as the strategic planning for growth and continuous improvement. Technical and managerial oversight of approximately 20 Environmental Test personnel is required. Will manage TVAC chambers, shakers/slip tables in Vibration laboratory and Acoustic laboratory equipment. Familiarity with this equipment is recommended. Excellent communication skills and forward planning is required.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of vacuum systems, vibration systems, and a fundamental understanding of environmental and electronics testing methodologies. Duties will ensure product testing is executed, improve processes (Continuous Improvement; Lean Events; 6 Sigma), recognize hardware and process anomalies, and respond appropriately.

The individual needs to function efficiently in a rapidly changing environment. A good written command of the English language is a must.

Education
Position requires a minimum of a B.S. Degree in Engineering.

Experience
At least 10 years of hands-on industrial experience in the design, fabrication and test of Aerospace products.

Other
