MARINE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Trelleborg Engineered Products, Inc., manufacturer of marine fender and buoy systems, business unit of Trelleborg AB, a $3.5B Swedish public company, has an immediate opening for a Marine Structural Engineer.

 

Candidates must possess a BS or MS degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering or Mechanical Engineering plus a minimum of 3 years structural design experience.  The candidate must have the ability to perform a competent level of structural calculations and analysis, the ability to use AutoCAD and 3D CAD in design projects, and the ability to manage small projects.  Other qualifying characteristics include a familiarity with waterfront facilities (dock, piers), marine fenders, buoys, mooring systems, port and harbor structures, and geotechnical engineering involving marine pile structures.

US Citizenship required.
