This position will be located at the Middletown, Pa. Fulling Mill Rd Campus or at the Menlo Park Campus in Ca.
Responsible for the Lean Design for Six Sigma (LDFSS) initiative for the GIC Business Group within North America. This is to include, but not limited to, coordinating a Steering Committee, providing training for LDFSS Black Belt and Green belt classes as well as other duties as specified below
Utilize Six Sigma methodology to develop and lead key business initiatives for cash flow, productivity, quality, and growth. Focus will be on process improvement, operational excellence, change management leadership, and lean manufacturing techniques as it relates to the Product development and Business Office world.
Mentor Black Belts and Green Belts and other personnel on Six Sigma methodologies. Assist team members as a company-wide training and support resource

Drive change & process improvement initiatives in both Development / design, and transactional functions across the Engineering business office

Drive the development of a Six Sigma culture
Lead cross functional teams in Design programs to gather information to evaluate current work processes and identify improvement strategies.

Function as a full member of the GIC Six Sigma Department with MBB's form other areas of the Group

Travel will be required. Approximately 30 %

3 - 5 years Development / Design Engineering and/or Product Engineering experience with at least one year as a Black Belt ( Preferred). Experience facilitating Six Sigma / Lean training at the Green belt level

Good organizational skills; must excel in both verbal and written communication with good presentation/command skills. Must be results driven, able to set priorities with the ability to build motivated successful teams. Must be a timely, quality decision maker - a change leader that creates effective plan to promote and manage change.

A four (4) year degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science preferred); Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt trained and certified (LDFSS preferred); and a proven track record of managing and successfully completing multiple projects
