Montross & Associates, A.P.C. (Irvine) is seeking Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineers with 1-10 years experience to join our busy and growing firm and AutoCad drafters/designers with experience of 1-10 years.

We are hiring for the following positions:

Experience: Mechanical HVAC Engineer

HVAC, Central Plant, chillers, boilers and building systems. Plumbing experience a plus. AutoCAD capability a plus. 5-10 yrs project experience in design/engineering for new/remodel construction, low-mid rise: commercial / retail / industrial / hospital / school / data centers. California license preferred but not required.  You must be proficient with governing codes and industry standards.  Green design and LEED awareness desired. You may be required to make one-day or overnight visits to our out of state clients approximately 4 times a year.  Software proficiency to include EnergyPro, Carrier E20, MS Excel and MS Business Suite applications.

 

Experience: Electrical Designer/Engineer

Building electrical systems including lighting, power, circuiting, power distribution, load calculations, new metering and service switchgear design, panel boards, distribution systems and single line development.  Calculation proficiency with voltage drop, lighting photometrics, short circuit, electrical load and T24 certification.  AutoCAD capability a plus, 1-10 years project experience in design/engineering for new/remodel construction, low-mid rise: commercial / retail / industrial / hospital / school / data centers. California license preferred but not required.  You must be proficient with governing codes and industry standards.  Green design and LEED awareness desired.  You may be required to make one-day or overnight visits to our out of state clients approximately 4 times a year.  Software proficiency to include EnergyPro, Wire Guide (or similar application), MS Excel and MS Business Suite applications.

 

Experience: Plumbing Designer/Engineer

Building plumbing systems including domestic water, drain, waste and vent; natural gas, compressed air, grease waste, rain water roof drainage, ejection pumping systems, fueling stations and other building systems.  Calculation proficiency with water service, meter selection, gas service, and fixture unit calculations.  AutoCAD capability a plus, 5-10 years project experience in design/engineering for new/remodel construction, low-mid rise: commercial / retail / industrial / hospital / school / data centers. California license preferred but not required.  You must be proficient with governing codes and industry standards.  Green design and LEED awareness desired.  You may be required to make one-day or overnight visits to our out of state clients approximately 4 times a year.  Software proficiency to include MS Excel and MS Business Suite applications.

Compensation

Starting at $40K ? 85K /year depending on experience. Excellent Health benefits including vision, and dental. 401K saving program with contribution.
