MECHANICAL PRODUCT ENGINEER
MECHANICAL PRODUCT ENGINEER
The ideal candidate will have strong project engineering skills with a solid background in the design, development, qualification and manufacture of electromechanical aerospace products.
Familiarity with the electro-mechanical design of HID, LED and Halogen lighting technologies and/or a background designing products for aerospace or high-reliability markets would be advantageous. Heat transfer, reliability analysis, failure mode analysis and software experience using Pro-E, Auto-CAD and MS-Office would be an asset. Experience in the design and manufacture of lighting products is a plus.
This position requires customer interface, solid modeling design, material selection, material resource planning, technical writing skills and project engineering. Candidates must be able to interface with all departments within the organization as well as with clients and industry experts. Some travel is required.
Candidates for this position must have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and a 0-5 years industry experience.
Local candidates preferred / no relocation or sponsorship given at this time
