MPMTC Technician

MP Mask Technology Center (MPMTC) is one of the world's leading manufacturers of reticle solutions.  As a technician in the MP Mask Technology Center (joint venture of Micron and Photronics), you will be working in the cleanroom fabrication of reticles.  The MPMTC Technician at Micron works in the manufacturing areas operating equipment that produces and tests our reticles.  MPMTC Technicians are responsible for the manufacturing of our products through a variety of mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes.  MPMTC Technicians may work towards development in Equipment support or Process to gain knowledge and experience.  The work environment is very fast paced, team oriented, and multitasking is required with responsibilities such as operating several pieces of equipment at the same time.  This environment provides for an excellent learning and work experience.  Technicians will contribute to time to market (TTM) reduction by facilitating product movement and expediting the manufacturing process through operation, problem resolution, routine data evaluation, and analysis of quality and production systems.



Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be motivated and self-directed, have the ability to multi-task, and a desire to become an integral part of a team in a fast paced environment.  Candidates must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, and must be willing to support all Fab processes from running tools to reviewing results.  They will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.  Previous experience with other software applications such as MTSPC, GERM, ETI applications, EPD, and Documentum is a plus but will not exclude an applicant.


 
Candidates will eventually become directly involved with the coordination of recoveries, troubleshooting, and repair of Fab tools with MTC Production, Engineering and vendor FSEs.They must be willing to become Emergency Recovery Team (ERT) certified, to work any assigned shift, and to work overtime as needed.  They will have a willingness to take on new responsibilities and continue to learn the details of continuously advancing manufacturing technologies.  A minimum 3 years Fab or Mask experience, class 1 or 10 clean room experience necessary, Mask experience a plus.  Familiarity with Micron’s MES Tracking and Process Management (GeRM) systems is a plus but will not exclude an applicant.Carrying a Micron pager is required.


 


Education:


Relevant education or experience that supports position responsibilities and skills is required.  You will be expected to maintain a 2 year commitment to the MPMTC reticle facility.
