Machining Engineer (38351) - Local Candidates

Adecco Technical has the following contract position available for a Machining Engineer in Dayton, OH. Local candidates preferred - no travel/relocation or sponsorship given at this time. Below are the job details?.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the design and/or testing of tooling and equipment
and/or planning the manufacturing processes in a designated area of
the manufacturing plant. Responsible for developing, implementing, and
maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the
fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Interfaces with engineering in coordinating the release of new
products. Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards,
makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. As required, maintains records and reporting
systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
* High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and
difficult* Understanding of engineering theory and principles of
design* Highly developed oral and written communications skills * High
level of interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work
independently and with others* General interest in product design,
particularly automotive* Familiarity with basic machine types*
Familiarity with all design, build and test services* Highly
proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings* Thorough
knowledge of most advanced engineering methods, tools, and procedures

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5 - 10 years of relevant experience

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
* College degree with a major in engineering* Training in computer
applications

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
Must have engineering experience with MACHINING operations.
