Manager 4, Engineering-Development

Responsibilities: Oversee the entire San Diego/Las Vegas Area Development program, including managing the entire development staff to include real estate, zoning, and construction. The qualified candidate must have first hand experience in cell site acquisition, zoning, and construction of cell sites, to include a solid understanding of the varied leasing conditions and how to overcome leasing obstacles which hinders site development. The candidate will have experience in zoning laws, reading codes and ordinances, attending zoning hearings, and neighborhood meetings. The candidate must submit and meet forecasts. Must review and help prepare budget requirements with an eye on cost savings. Interface with RF and Operations on the development of sites. Manage and select IC, general contractors, and vendors Interface with lawyers and/or legal department on leasing and zoning matters. Support project timeline tracking. Review and create standard practices and policies.

Requirements:

4-year degree preferred 5- 10 years related experience in the wireless industry, specifically: leasing, zoning and construction. Previous experience attending zoning presentations, hearings, and neighborhood meetings. Previous management or supervisory experience. Strong organizational, communication, decision-making and time management skills. Need to be assertive, proactive and have an independent work style, while at the same time being a team player. Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment. Must be able to effectively multi-task within committed timeframes.
