Manager - Engineering

The Government Engineering Solutions Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the quality delivery of engineering support/solutions to Government programs. This includes managing the overall delivery of engineering related task authorizations which involves scope, schedule and financial metrics. The manager will be responsible for staff management of engineering assignments which includes working with recruiting in identifying and selecting subject matter experts (spectrum managers, LMR engineers and System Engineers).

Responsible for tracking the status of all projects, proposals, business development support, and other activities involving Government engineering support. The role requires understanding the General Dynamics financial systems and tracking Engineering Support Group financial performance and working with the staff and director to project future budgeting requirements. The candidate shall be proficient in common software used to accomplish these tasks, including the Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft Project.

Bachelor's degree in a technical major.

The successful candidate shall have 8-10 years experience in the field of wireless communications.
