Manager, Quality Assurance
Louisville, KY
Principal Responsibilities
Oversees quality assurance programs for Account Installation operational areas
Ensures that audit criteria and resources align with business priorities
Establishes effective communication channels that ensure the flow of quality-related information into and out of the department
Partners with stakeholders to identify quality trends and improvements that will increase the quality of service provided by the organization
Coordinates overall workflow prioritization and resource utilization of the department, and ensures effective and efficient use of corporate resources
Assists in development of strategic and tactical plans to ensure achievement of company and departmental goals
Oversees hiring, development, retention, and performance management of staff
Requirements
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, industrial engineering, operations research, business management, or a related field
Four years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience
Two years work experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity
Demonstrated ability to achieve results through leading team efforts
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and render good decisions to resolve problems
Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Preferred:
Demonstrated leadership experience in a quality assurance organization
Broad and deep knowledge of various quality concepts (e.g., Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, ISO, etc.)
Health insurance industry experience, preferably in the account implementation area
Broad and deep knowledge of Humana's Account Installation operations areas
Broad knowledge of Humana's Service Operations organization
